Wood Finishing 100% Pure Tung Oil Finish 8 Ounces is used to enhance the finish of solid wood. This pure tung oil comes without any additives. This product penetrates the wood to bring out the beauty of the wood's natural character and to increase water resistance. It will not look like a heavy gloss finish, but a balanced, natural one. 

Tung oil is ideal to use for counter tops, outdoor furniture, decks, wood flooring and wood siding. Tung oil comes from the seeds or nuts of the Tung tree. This top grade tung oil offers fine color and dries faster.

Considered a "green finish," tung oil is all natural, containing no VOCs. 

Apply a generous first coat, rubbing it into the wood with a soft rag. Let that application sit for 40 minutes to soak in. Once soaked in, you can apply another coat. Check for seeping between coat applications and rub off excess. Wood should be allowed to soak overnight between applications. Pure Tung Oil will take 7 to 10 days for minimum cure and 15 to 30 days for full cure. 

Two to four coats of oil are sufficient for decorative pieces, surfaces that will see heavy use could require up to six coats and might need to be reapplied throughout the year. 

Store Tung Oil in a moderate temperature, not a freezing spot and not hot places either. Do not store in direct sunlight.
